Alastair McDermott

Alastair McDermott is Technical Director of WebsiteDoctor.com, a consultancy and training business focused on online marketing. Alastair specialises in the technical side of online marketing, particularly search engine optimisation and web programming.

WebsiteDoctor has provided solutions for many large Irish and international organisations, as well as SMEs. Previous clients include the International Federation of the Red Cross, recruitment agencies, hoteliers and ecommerce companies.

Alastair founded WebsiteDoctor in early 2007 after freelancing in SEO for several years. He has worked in the technology industry for over 10 years, including working for Sun Microsystems, Dell, Software AG and Eurologic in various engineering and technical roles. He has a BSc Hons in Software Development (GMIT) and has been developing websites since 1996.

Alastair is a wannabe serial-entrepreneur who loves solving problems, generating ideas and strategising business. Apart from WebsiteDoctor, he is a director of Irish software development company, ArrangeMyWorld Ltd., and is on the board of several other internet start-ups. He has been a member of the Irish online community at boards.ie since 1998 and is an administrator for the site. boards.ie is one of Ireland’s largest websites and is also one of the largest online community forums in the world.

Sinéad McDermott

Sinéad is a director and lead trainer for WebsiteDoctor. She specialises in development of our training courses and materials, as well as administration.

Sinéad has a BA Hons in Heritage (GMIT), a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NUI Maynooth) and is completing an MEd in Adult Education. Sinéad worked in web development and search engine marketing for several organisations before joining WebsteDoctor as a director.

Sinéad has been with us since the company was formed in 2007.

Dimitar Manolchev

Dimitar is our lead graphic designer and has created most of the web and print designs in our portfolio. He is an expert with Illustrator and Photoshop, and specialises in creating wonderful logos.

Alistair McBride

Alistair McBride is our videographer here at WebsiteDoctor.com: he specialises in producing video for online use such as on YouTube and the other social networks. He plans, shoots and edits video interviews, screencasts, training and presentations.

Alistair “Number 2″, as he hates to be known, has a background in art and business with a degree from St. Andrews, Scotland. He has been with WebsiteDoctor since 2009.
