If you take a look at our company site, for example, www. is physically on one server while blog. is on another.

We wouldn&#039;t be able to do that if we&#039;d used a sub-directory :)

If you use a sub-domain you can choose to put the blog on a completely different platform, server or even country.

The content argument is a bit silly.
